Gas Fire Prompts Peninsula Road Closure
PG&E and fire crews are on the scene repairing a 6-inch gas line in the 900 block of Gellert, authorities said.

DALY CITY, CA — An overnight gas fire has shuttered an approximately 0.3-mile stretch of Gellert Boulevard until further notice, the North County Fire Authority said.
Gellert remained closed between Verducci and King drives as of 7:43 a.m. Tuesday, the agency said.
PG&E and fire crews are on the scene repairing a 6-inch gas line in the 900 block of Gellert, the agency said.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area until further notice.
