'GreenLite A-Go-Go' Event to Get Families Moving Sunday
Parents can get pampering treatments while kids have fun rocking out to the music of Redwood City native AndyZ.

Get groovy, get fit, and have fun as a family - that's the idea behind the "GreenLite A-Go-Go" Family Fitness Fair taking place this Sunday, Nov. 4 at 10:30 a.m. at 465 Fairchild Dr. in Mountain View.
Dr. Sooji Rugh, founder of GreenLite Medicine, hosts the fair to call attention to the rising rate of adolescent obesity in our country, and try to help families find ways to get exercise together in a fun way.

"The event [aims to] champion family wellness through music, movement and activities that encourage creativity and emotional well-being," Sooji said.
Activities will include making "children's rock music," "on-trend movement," and hands-on activities.

And, if you have a child in the Bay Area, you probably know who AndyZ is - one of the most popular children's musical performers in northern California, who just happens to be from Redwood City. AndyZ will be making a special appearance at this Sunday's GreenLite A-Go-Go festival.
Another special appearance from equity actress Molly Bell will also take place. Bell will reportedly introduce her "Creative Habit Academy" and take families through an energetic "GrooveTots" and "Grooviloos" hip-hop session.
Also, Kimochis® Toys with Feelings will show kids how to express and communicate their feelings in a fun and comfortable way, and Mad Science® of the Bay Area will give kids hands-on experiences at their Slippery Science Center.
Activities just for parents will focus on pampering mini-spa massage therapy, "living well" games, deep breathing exercises, and doTERRA® aromatherapy.
In the name of food, Sooji said, "The event [aims to] prove it’s possible to eat delicious and stay true to a healthy lifestyle. Attendees will eat and drink without guilt thanks to Hint® Waters, Somersault® Snack Co, and Haute Cuisine."
Attendance is free, though people who RSVP ahead of time will receive a complimentary gift bag at the event. To pre-register, visit greenlitemedicine.com/greenlite-a-go-go.
