Kids Stuffed Animal Sleepover Planned In RC Library

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Here's a new one that will make you feel warm and fuzzy all over.

The Redwood City Public Library is having a special sleepover involving stuffed animals.

The library known for its creative programs such as its rooftop beekeeping is asking citizens to have their kids drop off their furry friends to spend the night listening to stories and playing games.

Warning: the stuffed animals may be weary the next day as they're expected to stay up way past their bedtimes.

The drop-off is designated for Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with pick-up slated for the following between noon and 1 p.m. Participants are asked to stay for a group photo at 1:15 p.m.

As part of the children's programs scheduled for the library located at 1044 Middlefield Road, the unique event sponsored by the Friends of the Library Bookstore.
