REDWOOD CITY, CA — Police said they arrested a suspect Friday connected to recent mail thefts in San Mateo County. Early Friday morning, Redwood City Police Department officers said they pulled over a suspect they believed was connected to mail theft cases in southern San Mateo County. Officers said they found stolen mail, checks, identification cards and financial information belonging to more than 20 victims. Police said they also found suspected drugs in the car. Police arrested the suspect and booked them into the jail on multiple felony theft and fraud-related charges.Police have not released the suspect's name.
