NEW Police Blotter: Shots Fired on Residential Street
Redwood City Police blotter incidents from Monday, Jan. 21 to Thursday, Jan. 24. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

RANDOM INCIDENTS OF NOTE:
**Thursday, Jan. 24, 3:55 p.m. - Shots Fired Near Inhabited Dwellings -Occurred at Cleveland Street and Vera Avenue. Shots heard. Five bullet holes found in Vera Street sign. Responding officers requested extra patrols to check area. Report taken.

Reckless Drivers - Monday, Jan. 21, 1:17 p.m. Occurred on 9th Avenue. Reckless drivers - white truck pulled into an apartment complex going 50+ miles per hour, almost running over a child on a bike. The truck was chasing a Hispanic male riding a bicycle who had pulled into the complex.
Suspicious Person - Monday, Jan. 21, 4:43 p.m. Occurred on Flynn Avenue. A male was seen standing, drinking a beer, and watching children play across the street. Described as a Hispanic male, around 30 years old, wearing a black jacket and red sweatshirt. Officers were unable to locate.
Gunshots Heard/Vandalism - Monday, Jan. 21, 8:17 p.m. Occurred on Rolison Road. Resident heard 2-3 shots, then saw his window was broken. Had just seen some juveniles loitering upstairs. Report taken.
Disturbance/Assault & Battery - Monday, Jan. 21, 10:26 p.m. Occurred at Roosevelt and Hudson. A juvenile reported he was just jumped by four other subjects in the park. They were wearing all black and took off toward El Camino Real. Victim got away on his bike toward Ebener. Medics enroute. Report taken.
Disturbance - Tuesday, Jan. 22, 3:37 p.m. A male in a boat at the end of Seaport was seen shooting birds in the area. Officers were unable to locate.
Shoplifting - Tuesday, Jan. 22, 5:42 p.m. Occurred on Walnut Street. A white male between 30-40 years old just stole a shirt from a store. He then put the shirt on and sat outside at the coffee shop next door wearing it. Arrest made. Parole violation.
Shoplifting - Tuesday, Jan. 22, 6:52 p.m. Occurred on El Camino Real. Subject stole liquor, food and cash from a store. Appeared drunk. Arrest made.
Gunshots Heard - Wednesday, Jan. 23, 8:55 a.m. Occurred on Rolison Road about 10 minutes ago. About five shots were heard coming from near the north side of the building.
Battery - Wednesday, Jan. 23, 3:08 p.m. Occurred at Broadway and Chestnut Street. A subject in a gray Mazda got mad over a traffic altercation, got out of his car and walked over to other subject's car and punched him in the face. Suspect was a white male wearing a black hat, last seen driving northbound on Broadway. Officers tracked him down and cited him.
Indecent Exposure - Thursday, Jan. 24, 11:52 a.m. Occurred at Farm Hill Boulevard and Cambridge Road. Reporting person states a "student" approached and exposed himself, described as a Hispanic male wearing a gray and black beanie and dark blue sweatpants. Left on foot through the parking lot.
Strong-Arm Robbery - Thursday, Jan. 24, 11:08 p.m. Occurred on Broadway at 10:30 p.m. Suspect located, arrest made.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES:
Monday, Jan. 21, 5:31 p.m. - Occurred on Madison Avenue. Front door kicked in and house appears ransacked. Female resident has not entered the home, is waiting outside in her car for officers. Report taken.
Tuesday, Jan. 22, 5:30 p.m. - Occurred on Poplar Avenue sometime during the day. Two computers, cash and jewelry were taken. No suspect info. Report taken.
Wednesday, Jan. 23, 6:58 p.m. - Occurred on Brewster Avenue sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Entry made through unlocked back door. Taken were jewelry and a wallet containing gift cards. Report taken.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARIES:
Tuesday, Jan. 22, 10:20 a.m. - Occurred on Woodside Road in a business' front office. Occured sometime since 10:30 p.m. last night. Unknown point of entry. Taken was a computer and cash. Report taken.
BURGLARIES FROM VEHICLES:
Monday, Jan. 21, 10:07 a.m. - Occurred on Main Street between 9 to 9:45 a.m. Rear driver's side window was smashed and a laptop and wallet were stolen. Vehicle was parked in underground parking. Blue BMW. Report taken.
Tuesday, Jan. 22, 9:22 a.m. - Occurred on Roosevelt Avenue sometime overnight. Rear window was smashed, a briefcase containing a laptop and XM radio was taken. Report taken.
Tuesday, Jan. 22, 11:12 a.m. - Occurred on Gordon Street sometime overnight. Softball gear and an iPod were taken from an unlocked vehicle. Report taken.
Tuesday, Jan. 22, 4:09 p.m. - Occurred on El Camino Real. Two unlocked vehicles parked in the driveway were ransacked overnight. A computer and two cell phone chargers were taken. No suspect info. Report taken.
Wednesday, Jan. 23, 8:17 a.m. - Occurred on Leahy Street. Window of vehicle was smashed with a dumbell the suspect left on the scene. Taken were three iPods, a GPS unit and a radar detector. Report taken.
Thursday, Jan. 24, 5:50 a.m. - Occurred on Williams Avenue. Occurred within the last few minutes. A wallet with owner's driver's license and credit cards was taken. No suspect info. Report taken.
STOLEN VEHICLES:
Wednesday, Jan. 24 - Occurred on Admiralty Place. 2012 red Ford Focus rental car. Last seen at 8 p.m. last night. No suspect info. Report taken.
OTHER THEFTS:
Monday, Jan. 21, 10:18 a.m. - Occurred on Clinton Street. Grand theft of outboard motor from boat. Report taken.
Monday, Jan. 21, 11:49 a.m. - Occurred on Veterans Boulevard. Shoplifting. Arrest made.
