
OAKLAND, CA -- A fire erupted Saturday afternoon in West Oakland. The fire was reported after 4 p.m. in the 1100 block Embarcadero West.
Officials said a recycling pile caught on fire at Schnitzer Steel, a business in the area.
The public was told to avoid the area.
