FROG to Hold Family-Friendly Work Day at Hardy Park Saturday
Local residents are invited to help with planting, raking and other tasks at the Rokridge-Temescal Greenbelt.

FROG (Friends of the Rockridge-Temescal Greenbelt) will hold its monthly family-friendly clean-up at the greenbelt Saturday, Aug 3, according to a FROG announcement.
Local residents are invited to join friends and Oakland Tech students to clear out tree roots from the creek, rake, plant and tackle family-friendly tasks at the park.
Volunteers should meet at Big Frog (Hardy Circle) in the Hardy Park section of the greenbelt at 10 a.m. Anyone who plans to help remove roots should bring shoes suitable for muddy work.
The clean-up will last until 1 p.m. The creek will be turned off during the work, but the park will remain open to visitors.
