Stolen Pug Returns Home, Safe and Sleepy
Bossan is back home and took a nap after his safe return, owner Stephen Sanders said.

Bossan, the pug stolen from in front of the Rockridge Branch Library last Wednesday, was reunited with his family early Monday morning, owner Stephen Sanders said today.
Sanders said someone left Bossan at PetVet/Petfood, 4820 Broadway, Oakland, where he was found by a store employee who recognized the dog from photos on flyers distributed last week.
Bossan's family was notified about 7:15 a.m. Monday, Sanders said.
He said the eight-year-old pug is back home and taking a nap Monday afternoon.
Bossan was originally reported stolen from in front of the library at 5366 College Ave., Oakland on Aug. 7. Witnesses said he was taken by a young woman.
Sanders said Bossan's disappearance was reported to the Oakland Police Department but that he could not comment further on the theft.
"But we met a lot of really helpful people along the way" as the family searched for Bossan, he said.
