Body Found In Rohnert Park Creek
An investigation into the death was ongoing Friday afternoon, police said.
ROHNERT PARK, CA — A man's body was found Friday morning in a creek in Rohnert Park, police said.
Officers responded at 8:10 a.m. Friday to a call about a possible dead person in Hinebaugh Creek near Commerce Boulevard and found a man lying on his back underneath the underpass, the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety said.
Medical personnel confirmed the man, a 52-year-old Sonoma County resident, was dead.

The man's name was not released.

"At this time, foul play is not suspected as a factor in this death," police said.
Authorities asked anyone with information pertinent to the investigation to contact RPDPS Detective Kevin Escher at 707-588-3542 and refer to case number 23-0338.
