For area engineers and support staff looking for work, there's good news: Aerojet plans to hire staff at its Rancho Cordova headquarters, according to the Sacramento Business Journal.
The company currently employs about 1,700. No word yet on how many people they plan to hire, according to the SBJ, but Aerojet president said they plan to hire a lot of engineers.
That need for engineers comes because they anticipate about half of their current engineering staff could retire soon, the SBJ reports.
