Marshmallow Ballistics at the Rancho Cordova Library
3:30-4:30 p.m. Rancho Cordova Branch of the Sacramento Library
This workshop is designed for the 6-12 year-old catapult maker in your house.  After completing their contraptions, the catapult makers will test their launchers by sending marshmallows at an unsuspecting tower of paper cups.

Is your student planning to play sports this school year, they’ll need to get a physical.  No cost and low cost physicals are being offered at the Hiram Johnson Health Center on August 5, 7, 9, 12 and 14, 2013.  The center is urging people to make reservations now.  Call WellSpace Health for information and to make an appointment.
