A pilot who broke a world speed record in an electric airplane hopes to break his record at the California Capital Airshow at Mather Airport in October.
Chris Yates hopes to travel more than 202 miles per hour in an electric airplane to break his record.
The airshow is set for Saturday, Oct. 5 and Sunday, Oct. 6. More information is available here.
