
Rancho Cordova Police are hosting a gang-prevention seminar Thursday, June 20 to educate locals on how to protect themselves and identify if a family member is involved in a gang.Β
The free seminar, calledΒ βGangs β InterventionΒ Strategies to Protect Youth,β will give parents the information they need to identify if their child may be involved in a gang. They will learn aboutΒ gang identifiers, symbols, clothing, and which gangs are active in our Β communities.
Parents will also receive information about alternative resources such asΒ PAL (Police Activities League) and other after-school programs, according to the Rancho Cordova Police Department.
