3-Year-Old Twins Among Those Pepper-Sprayed After Argument at Galleria

An argument Sunday afternoon between shoppers outside a children's clothing store at the Roseville Galleria ended with one pepper-spraying the other and several other people involved.

Roseville Police were called just before 4 p.m., and responded to The Children's Place.

"Two female shoppers had gotten into an argument, which escalated until one party sprayed pepper spray at the other party," Roseville Police spokeswoman Dee Dee Gunther said in an email. "Seven people were treated for exposure to pepper spray."

Of those people, all but one–a mall employee–were involved in the disturbance, Gunther said.

Four people were transported to the hospital for clean-up to exposure to the spray: the mall employee, a mom and her 3-year-old twins.

Two woman and an infant were treated by paramedics at the scene, Gunther said.

"No arrests were made--officers contacted all the involved parties, and will forward a report to the District Attorney's Office for evaluation of charges," Gunther said. "The store was quickly cleaned up and back to normal operations."
