Dog Adoption Fees Reduced May 5-6 at Placer SPCA

Dogs abound at Placer SPCA, and the organization is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with special reduced adoption pricing.  All dogs over six months of age will be available for a reduced adoption fee of just $55 on Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6.  Adoption fees typically range from $125 to $300.

In a ten-day span, 38 dogs were received at the Placer SPCA.  26 are currently available between the Roseville and Auburn locations.  The dogs waiting for homes are all shapes and sizes, including Elmmer the terrier mix; Aqua the long haired Chihuahua; and Charlotte, the Labrador mix.

“It has been an unusually busy spring for dogs,” said Placer SPCA CEO Leilani Fratis. “Our kennels are just about full, and we would love to have each of these great dogs go home this weekend.”
