Fireworks Booth Applications Due Feb. 24

If you're with a local nonprofit looking to set up a fireworks booth this Fourth of July, here's a date to remember: Feb. 24. That's when booth applications are due.

The City of Roseville fireworks booth applications are now available. The application allows qualified local nonprofit organizations to sell fireworks in the Roseville city limits.

You can pick up an application at the administrative office, at 401 Oak St. or online at www.roseville.ca.us/fireworks.

The deadline for returning the completed applications to the fire department is 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24.

If the Fire Department receives more than 10 eligible applications, then a lottery drawing for the available permits will be held on at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 7 at the Roseville Fire Department, administrative office.

Organizations interested in applying for a fireworks booth permit must meet all the following criteria:

  • Qualify as a nonprofit organization or corporation organized primarily for Veteran, patriotic, welfare, civil betterment or charitable purposes
  • Have a bona fide membership of at least 20 members
  • Have been in existence within the City of Roseville for a period of one year prior to the fireworks booth permit application date
