Placer County Fair, Speedway Beer Sales Applications Due Feb. 29

Applications for beer sales at the 2012 are due at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 29.

Applications are being accepted from Placer County non-profit, service organizations that are interested in beer sales at the 2012 Placer Fair, June 21-24, and the 2012 season of the All American Speedway. The program offers a venue for organizations to generate revenue for their community service projects. All eligible organizations will be entered into a drawing for seven available slots. Placer County non-profits who staff bars will earn 10% of gross sales as well as 100% of their tips.

All qualified applicants will be placed into a lottery system and drawn for location. For applications visit the Placer County Fair office or www.placercountyfair.org. All paperwork must be filed no later than Feb. 29, 4:30 p.m. sharp and the bids will be opened the same day at 6 p.m.  Attendance is not required.
