Apartment Maintenance Worker Allegedly Stole Jewelry From Tenants

Angel Davis Nieves was arrested on June 21.

A maintenance worker for a Roseville apartment complex has been arrested and charged with stealing jewelry from at least two apartments, police say.

Angel Davis Nieves, a 35-year-old Sacramento resident, worked at the apartment complex in the 1600 block of Vineyard Road from January until April of this year.

"He's suspected of stealing jewelry from at least two residents when he went into their apartments to perform maintenance," the Roseville Police Department said in a crime log. "It's possible there are other victims who had items stolen, who have not reported their losses to police."

He was arrested by Roseville Police detectives on June 21. Police are asking anyone else in that complex who had something stolen but hasn't reported it yet to call 916-774-5070.
