Bayside Church Gives Roseville Salvation Army $8K Donation

The money will go toward a space that will be used for social services clients and church programs.

was the recent recipient of an $8,000 donation from of Granite Bay.

The money was raised through Bayside Church's "Whatever it Takes" campaign, which focuses partly on investing in "local, high-impact ministries," like The Salvation Army, according to a new release.

A multi-purpose project area to be located in the backlot space of The Salvation Army's location on 100 Lincoln St. in Roseville. The area will be used for activities, such as an overflow area for social services clients and church programs, according to the release.

β€œWe want to thank Bayside Church and its congregation for this incredible gift,” said Lt. John Morrow, Salvation Army Roseville Corps Officer, in the release.Β  β€œThe donation will definitely help with the improvement of our backlot area.Β  Our hope is that this backlot can be used by a variety of individuals and families from the South Placer County area.”

More than 500 people visit The Salvation Army in Roseville weekly and get assistance from its social services programs.
