Business News: Union — Barcade & Kitchen to Open in Historic Roseville, Black Bear Diner Coming Soon, More

The Union— Barcade & Kitchen: This new restaurant and bar will open at the former Basic Bar & Kitchen at 112 Pacific St. in Historic Old Town Roseville. The business is currently undergoing renovations for their new bar, arcade and restaurant.

Black Bear Diner: This diner chain plans to take over the former Applebee’s restaurant located at 6700 Stanford Ranch Road in Roseville. Black Bear Diner started in northern California and now has more than 50 locations, nearby in Sacramento, Davis and Gridley. Their menu includes comfort food items like meat loaf, fried chicken and chicken pot pie.

SureWest Communications: SureWest Communications plans to relocate approximately 300 employees to its former location at 200 Vernon St. in Downtown Roseville. They will be re-locating from a current location on Industrial Avenue. The Downtown Roseville building will be renovated and employees are expected to move in early 2013, according to the City.

Exclusive Wraps & Signs: This sign and banner business will be opening at 810 Atlantic St., Suite B in Roseville.

Taylor Morrison Homes: More than 200 medium-density residential units will be constructed within the Stone Point Master Plan, located in the northeast corner of Eureka Road and N. Sunrise Avenue. Taylor Morrison Homes plans to build attached and detached single-family homes with a Tuscan style. They will be located within a gated community that will include a park.

California Waterfowl Association: This nonprofit organization will open at 1346 Blue Oaks Blvd., Suite 100 in Roseville. The California Waterfowl Association works to conserve, protect and enhance the state’s waterfowl resources and wetlands.
