Have a shutter bug at home? Get them out of the house and learning to capture the beauty of nature. We will be exploring the Maidu Museum's Historic Trail and exploring tips and tricks to taking photographs in nature. Students are expected to bring their own camera or phone with a camera.

Wear close-toed shoes, clothes that can be stained, hat, sunscreen; bring water and healthy snack.

If you’ve always wanted to journal but weren’t quite sure how to start, join us as we learn the tips and tricks of successfully observing what happens in the natural world around us by using words, colors and your own personal thoughts.

Guerilla Gardening: Seed Paper Craft

Spend the morning creating your own paper out of recycled materials, seeds and other natural materials. This paper can be used in a number of different crafts and art projects. Or it can be planted to grow native wildflowers.

Please wear close-toed shoes and clothes that can be stained.
