
A grassfire in Placer County quickly spread from 60 acres to more than 200 Thursday afternoon before being contained by fire crews.
The fire, west of Roseville near Watt Avenue and PFE Road, was first reported around noon Wednesday.
Cal Fire reported the 237-acre fire was 100 percent contained around 2:20 p.m.
The Roseville Press-Tribune reported "a number of structures" were threatened by the fire.
