Domestic Dispute Has Peaceful Ending After SWAT Called

Roseville Police and its SWAT team responded to a pre-dawn domestic dispute Thursday, but left without making any arrests.

Roseville Police Lt. Marc Glynn said officers responded to reports of a husband and wife arguing on Rainhill Loop, in the WestPark area, at 4:22 a.m.

"We had a domestic dispute over there going on that we were concerned would turn into something more," Glynn said.

He said officers were concerned because the couple's two children were upstairs and there was "a past history of having some mental illness" at the house.

Roseville's SWAT team was called out at 5:30 a.m., but they were called off shortly after.

"As we were staging, the gentleman decided if we backed off a bit he would come out, and he did," Glynn said. "We were glad that it ended with no one injured and it was a positive resolution."
