Donations Needed for ‘Holiday Drive for the Needy’

St. Clare Catholic Church in Roseville is hosting a holiday drive, collecting items for 250 families and 1,000 children.

About 250 families and 1,000 children will be the recipients of some much-needed clothes, food and toys this holiday season thanks to St. Clare Catholic Church’s Social Concerns Committee.

The committee is asking for donations for the community to help these families in Roseville, Rocklin and Antelope this Thanksgiving and Christmas.

“We are hoping to be able to provide food baskets for Thanksgiving and Christmas as well as gifts for children for the holidays,” said Karl Thompson, Chair of the Social Concerns Committee, in a news release. “We began this program last year and were blessed with great support from the community.”
