Expect Delays at Blue Oaks, Foothills Intersection
An accident disabled a traffic signal at the west Roseville intersection; the intersection will operate as a four-way stop until repairs are made.

Roseville drivers might want to avoid the intersection of Blue Oaks and Foothills boulevards in west Roseville today.
The intersection is currently operating as a four-way stop after a vehicle accident disabled a traffic signal. According to a City of Roseville traffic alert, the intersection will function as a four-way stop until repairs are completed by tomorrow morning, Aug. 2.
If you plan to drive that way today, expect delays or consider taking a different route.

According to Roseville Police, at 4:36 a.m. Wednesday, personnel responded to a solo-vehicle accident after a 1998 Toyota SUV crashed into the traffic signal pole.
The driver, a 42-year-old from Roseville, was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries, according to Dee Dee Gunther with the Roseville Police Department.

Gunther said in an email that police do not believe alcohol was involved and think the driver may have had some type of medical event that caused him to crash. However, the cause is still under investigation and the official cause has not been determined.
