A fire burned through 30 acres in Roseville's Maidu Park Friday afternoon before being contained.
Five homes on Thistle Down and McLaren drives were damaged, according to the city.
Fire crews are expected to be mopping up the fire "all night," and the city is warning residents to avoid the area if possible.
Activities at the park scheduled for Friday night have been canceled.
