Ground Mosquito Treatment Set for Friday Morning
Treatment is planned for multiple locations in Roseville.
Three Roseville neighborhoods will be treated for mosquitos early Friday morning.
Treatment is set from 3:30-6 a.m. Aug. 16 for "high mosquito numbers and significant West Nile virus activity," according to the Placer Mosquito and Vector Control District. "An EPA-approved mosquito adulticide will be applied in an Ultra Low Volume (ULV) fog by truck to target adult mosquitoes."
The Roseville neighborhoods treated will be:
- Residential areas from Hayden Parkway south and west of Fiddyment Road to the Roseville city border including some unincorporated areas west of the city. See map here.
- Areas around Morgan Creek Golf Course, from Vineyard Road south to PFE Road, between Cook Riolo Road and east to Foothills Boulevard/Atkinson Street. See map here.
- Amoruso Way and surrounding area. See map here.
