I'm Back as Editor of Roseville Patch

Hey Roseville! It's been a while. 

You may have noticed that my name and teeny tiny photo just showed up at the top of the Roseville Patch homepage. It's because I'm back as your editor of Roseville Patch. 

For some of you new (or newer) to the site, here's a little background about me: I launched the site back in June of 2011 to a community that had (mostly) never heard of Patch. The site quickly took off and gained some great readers, like you. 

Then, at the end of October 2012 I went on maternity leave and welcomed my baby girl, Raegan, into the world. I returned to Patch a few months later, sleep deprived, but excited to be back. My role shifted a little as I helped out with sites in the Bay Area and occassionally in the Sacramento area. I occasionally covered Roseville stories, but not consistently — until now. 

Now, I'm happy to report that I'm back as your editor of Roseville Patch. Raegan is now 9 months old, crawling, standing, grabbling, laughing and babbling. She's also sleeping through the night (mostly), which means I'm a little less sleep deprived. 

Even though I can't be everywhere and cover everything (I'm also the new editor of our sister site Fair Oaks-Carmichael Patch), the great news is that you can easily post things to the site yourself through our boards and blogs.

Did you try a new Roseville restaurant? Blog about it! 
Is your business holding a fundraiser night? Post the details on our boards. 
Want the community to know the results of your son's baseball game? Share it as a blog with photos of the team.
