- Music for Humanity returns to the Pioneer United Methodist Church on Lincoln Way in Auburn. The program invited back veteran performers Colla Voce Chamber Singers and Toot Sweet Brass Co., among others. All performers are donating their time, and proceeds benefit Auburn Interfaith Food Closet and The Gathering Inn’s meals. "More information is available at www.pioneerumc.org or 530-885-9009." - Tickets are on sale now for the Placer County Fair at presale prices! The fair is scheduled for June 22- 25 @TheGrounds in Roseville. - City Council member Scott Alvord will be at the Barbara Chilton Middle School Library on Thursday. He will be available for coffee and conversation with his constituents. (City of Roseville via Facebook)
- Jeffrey Perrine, a self-proclaimed "Proud Boy," brought a Roseville Joint Union High School District board meeting to a halt, angering many people in attendance. "His comments led to other attendees yelling and screaming, leading to one of the board members repeatedly asking for attendees to calm down before ultimately calling for the meeting to adjourn." Perrine was in attendance to comment on the school district's decision to "part ways with an LGBTQ+ youth group." (KCRA Sacramento)
