UPDATE: One Person Killed in Multi-Vehicle Accident on Pleasant Grove Blvd
Police are investigating a possible DUI-related crash at Roseville Parkway and Pleasant Grove Boulevard Tuesday afternoon.
One person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident that caused Pleasant Grove Boulevard near Roseville Parkway to close Tuesday afternoon.
At 3:41 p.m. Roseville Police officers responded to a crash on eastbound Pleasant Grove Boulevard between Pioneer Road and Roseville Parkway, according to police.

According to early police reports, a vehicle was seen driving erratically on Pleasant Grove Boulevard near Washington Boulevard eastbound until it collided with another vehicle stopped at a red light at Roseville Parkway. The initial crash set off "a chain-reaction collision involving five to six vehicles," according to police.
Four people were transported to the hospital, one with life-threatening injuries who later succumbed to injuries, two with serious injuries and one person who complained of pain.

Officers are investigating the crash as possibly DUI-related, according to Roseville Police.
Eastbound lanes of Pleasant Grove Boulevard were closed between Gold Coast/Hallissy drives and E. Roseville Parkway. All lanes were re-opened about 10 p.m. Tuesday.
