Labor Day: What's Open, Closed in Roseville

Prepare for the three-day weekend knowing what services won't be available Monday.

As with most major holidays, many local institutions will shut its door this Labor Day in observance of the national holiday. In preparation of the three-day weekend, here is a breakdown of services that will or will not be available for the Monday holiday.

Roseville Civic Center will be closed. 

All U.S. Postal Service locations will be closed.

All Placer County Public Library locations, including all Roseville libraries, will be closed.

The City of Roseville Transit Service (buses) will not be running, but Dial-A-Ride will have limited service. 

Emergency services, such as police and fire, will be available.

Garbage pickup services will not be affected. 

Retail stores, grocery stores, restaurants and other businesses may have limited hours Monday. Call ahead before heading to a specific business to confirm they are open.
