Roseville Pastor Diagnosed With Cancer
Father Steven Foppiano of Saint Clare Catholic Church has pancreatic cancer, the church said this weekend.

The pastor of a local Catholic church has been diagnosed with late-stage pancreatic cancer, the church said on its Facebook page.
Father Steven Foppiano of Saint Clare Catholic Church was diagnosed Wednesday and started chemotherapy just after midnight Thursday, the church said. The cancer has spread, so surgery and radiation aren't options, according to the church.
"Father hopes to continue his ministry in the parish and to celebrate Mass as long as he is able," the church wrote. "God Bless you all. Please pray for our pastor."
