Roseville Utility Exploration Center Director Killed in Crash
Bob Garrison was heading to a campground in Mendocino County for a Boy Scouts trip when his car was struck head-on.

A man well known in the Roseville community was killed in a head-on crash Sunday morning in Mendocino County.
Bob Garrison of Newcastle, was the supervisor of the Roseville Utility Exploration Center. He was on his way to a Boy Scouts camping trip when his van collided with a truck head-on, according to the Sacramento Bee.
Garrison, 55, was pronounced dead on the scene, the Associated Press reports.
The five Boy Scouts Garrison was driving all suffered injuries. His 14-year-old son suffered major injuries, according to the AP and News 10.
The five-vehicle crash was reported around 11 a.m. Sunday, July 21, near Potter Valley on Highway 20. According to the Bee, Garrison's Honda Odyssey was struck head-on, spun out and was struck again by a truck.
Garrison served as the Roseville Utility Exploration Center supervisor since its opening in 2006. He also served on the Placer Nature Center Board of Directors.
