Sammy Hagar Concert Raises $40K for Local Charities

Before doors even opened to rocker Sammy Hagar's restaurant and entertainment venue, Sammy's Rockin' Island Bar & Grill, approximately $40,000 was raised for local nonprofit organizations.

Hagar was in Roseville Saturday, Sept. 15, route: {:controller=>"articles", :action=>"show", :id=>"photo-gallery-sammy-hagar-ready-to-rock-downtown-roseville"} -->, to perform at the opening VIP event for his newest restaurant. The sold-out concert raised money for four local charities — The Me-One Foundation, Tommy Apostolos Fund, Placer Breast Cancer Endowment and Keaton Raphael Memorial.
