Sheriff's Detectives Search for Granite Bay Burglary Suspects

The suspects are described as two white males driving an older blue Ford pickup truck.

Placer County Sheriff's detectives are searching for two men suspected of burglarizing two Granite Bay homes this week.

The burglaries took place late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, both in Granite Bay. During Wednesday's burglary, the suspects were caught on surveillance video at a Granite Bay store using a stolen credit card taken from one of the burglarized homes, according to the Placer County Sheriff's Department. One video shows the two suspects using a Redbox kiosk.

The two suspects are white males, one with a shaved head and wearing a long-sleeved burgundy shirt and blue jeans. The other wore a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, a dark-colored baseball cap and light-colored pants. The suspects were driving an older, blue Ford pickup truck with a lumber rack on top and a toolbox mounted in the truck bed.
