Shoplifters Assault Security Officer & Crash into Parked Car; Witness Gets License Plate Number
"Officers researched the license plate number, identified suspects, and went to Sacramento that evening to arrest them."

Two suspected shoplifters fled a store on Fairway Drive with stolen merchandise last Thursday evening. They assaulted a store security officer who was trying to stop them, and they hit a parked car as they left the parking lot.
"A shopper witnessed the incident and got the license plate number of the suspects' vehicle for the investigating officers," said the Roseville Police Department in a release. "Officers researched the license plate number, identified suspects, and went to Sacramento that evening to arrest them. The 23-year-old man and 25-year-old woman, both from Sacramento, were arrested on suspicion of robbery (using force against the security personnel to steal the merchandise), conspiracy, and child endangerment--they had three small children in the back of their car when they fled from the store."
