Five Things to Know in Roseville This Week:

Perseid Meteor Shower: If you missed it last night, there's still time to see around 60 "shooting stars" per hour during this year's Perseid Meteor Shower. Monday is the last day for best viewing. Read more about the shower here. 

Back to School Storytime & Crafts: WFamily at the Westfield Galleria at Roseville will hold a back-to-school themed storytime and crafts day from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13 at the mall center court. The schedule includes storytime of “David Goes to School” by David Shannon and “Splat the Cat: Back to School, Splat!” by Rob Scotton as well as crafts. Find out more here. 

Mini Mania Lunch: A handful of SactoMoFo food trucks will stop at Brandman University, 3001 Lava Ridge Court, for a Mini Mania Lunch, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15. 

Boys II Men Concert: OK, this one isn't in Roseville, but it's close. In nearby Citrus Heights Boys II Men will perform at 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15. Find out more here. 

Mo Willems Storytime: Author Mo Willems is famous for recent book hits like "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" and "The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog!" A storytime at Barnes and Noble at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 will feature his books. Find out more here.
