Childhood Cancer Memorial Golf Tournament: The 15th annual Chipping Away at Childhood Cancer Memorial Golf Tournament, hosted by the Keaton Raphael Memorial, will be held Friday in Roseville.
When: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday; Registration begins at 6:30 a.m.; luncheon begins at 1 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 25
Learn to Thrive: Kaiser Permanente is hosting a back to school event at the Westfield Galleria at Roseville that will prepare families for the back to school season. Registered dieticians will give ideas for healthy school snacks, and the event will feature performances by Kaiser Permanente’s Educational Theater Program.

Movie in the Park: This summer’s last Movie in the Park is set for Saturday, featuring “Despicable Me.” Sponsored by the Roseville Coalition of Neighborhood Associations, the free starlight cinemas run through Aug. 25 this summer. Residents can mingle with neighbors and grab a seat on the grass to watch a movie under the stars.

Family Fun Run: Whole Foods Market in Roseville is hosting the 3rd annual Family Fun Run Sunday. The run features a 5K, 10K, 13.1-mile course and a free kids fun. Walkers, strollers and leashed dogs are welcome. The event also features a family-fun expo with obstacle courses, rock walls, entertainments and a healthy post-race breakfast buffet. All proceeds from the run go to Running School, Inc., a nonprofit that promotes healthy lifestyles.
When: Registration starts at 6 a.m. Sunday; The first race begins at 7:30 a.m.

Gregory De La Campa Candlelight Vigil: A candlelight vigil in memory of Gregory De La Campa, the pedestrian killed by a suspected drunk driver, will be held Sunday evening. Donations are also welcome.
