A woman was distracted at Whole Foods in Roseville last week while her wallet was stolen from her purse, Roseville Police say.
The woman was shopping at the store around 8 p.m. on June 3, and when she stepped away from her cart briefly, a stranger stepped between her and her cart to ask her a question about groceries, according to a Roseville Police crime log.
"When she got to the check-out counter, she discovered that her wallet had been stolen from her purse," the crime log states. "Within the hour, her credit cards were used at another nearby store."
Police say the woman who distracted the victim is described as a 5-foot-tall Hispanic woman in her late 20s, weighing around 140 pounds with black hair.
