Here are the top stories in Roseville today:
- STORY UPDATE: The Roseville neighborhood near Zola Avenue and Margaret Way spent most of Monday sheltering in place as Roseville Police pursued a kidnapping suspect out of San Joaquin County. The suspect, Benjamin Diaz, has not been located and considered armed and dangerous. He is wanted out of San Joaquin County for kidnapping and domestic violence, and out of Roseville for felony evasion charges. (Facebook)
- Students at the Roseville Joint Union High School District worry about mask mandate enforcement. The district is following the California Department of Public Health guidance that everyone must wear their masks indoors, regardless of vaccination status. But asks are not required outdoors. (ABC10.com KXTV)
- Roseville teenager Gabriel Gonzalez was one of four people injured in a backyard makeshift prom event in May 2021. The Woodcreek High School graduate was released from the Firefighters Burn Institute Regional Burn Center at UC Davis Medical Center after recovering from third-degree burns on nearly half of his body.(KCRA Sacramento)
