1 Critically Injured In San Francisco Shooting

One person was arrested after a shooting that left a man with life-threatening injuries in the South of Market neighborhood, police said.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — One person was arrested after a shooting that left a man with life-threatening injuries in the South of Market neighborhood Saturday, San Francisco police said.

Officers found the gunshot victim when they responded to the 500 block of Fifth Street about 6:31 p.m., police said.

"While investigators were still on scene, an adult male subject approached them," police said. "Officers developed probable cause and placed the 29-year-old male, Taylor Reed, under arrest. Charges are still pending."
