$100K Reward Offered In Fatal Shooting Of Boy In San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, CA—The San Francisco Police Department is offering a $100,000 reward for tips that lead to an arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the recent fatal shooting of a 6-year-old boy.

According to police, Jace Young attended a 4th of July party in San Francisco when he was shot to death just before 11 p.m. Prior to the shooting, Young was with his older sister and family friends lighting off fireworks in celebration of Independence Day.

Police said the shooting occurred at the intersection of Whitfield Court and La Salle Avenue. A man was also wounded during the shooting.

No motive or suspect information has been released at this time.

The San Francisco Police Department has authorized a $100,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) responsible for Young's death.
