SAN FRANCISCO, CA — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

But before we jump into Northern California's top stories, temperatures will continue to be slightly below seasonable averages on Monday, with a more noticeable cooling trend beginning Tuesday.

"The temperature forecast will feel like a bit of deja vu from the last couple of days, with low temperatures this morning ranging from the middle to upper 50s across the lower elevations and the 60s to lower 70s in the higher elevations. Meanwhile, high temperatures range from the 80s to the lower 90s inland with temperatures near 100 in the warmest spots, the 70s and lower 80s near the Bays, and the upper 50s to lower 60s along the Pacific Coast," the National Weather Service wrote.

Breezy conditions and dry air will make for elevated wildfire threats, the NWS said.

In other news, four people were arrested after 300 teens gathered at two adjacent Bay Area shopping centers for a melee. The Friday afternoon incident prompted several businesses to shut down early in order to protect their staff and property, police said.

Also, a 20-year-old Antioch man was arrested after San Mateo police discovered a modified, fully automatic handgun during a routine traffic stop on Highway 101. Subsequent testing of the weapon revealed it was capable of shooting 10 rounds in less than a second, police said.
