6 Injured, 2 Arrested After Police Chase Ends In Parklet Crash
The police chase ended when the suspects' vehicle collided into a parklet, where it struck several people.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Two women were arrested and six people were sent to the hospital in San Francisco on Sunday afternoon after a police chase involving a vehicle ended in a crash into a parklet, the police department said.
According to police, just after 3 p.m., officers responded to Buckingham Way and Winston Drive on a report of a wanted vehicle. When officers attempted a traffic stop, the suspects' vehicle fled and a pursuit ensued.
The police chase ended when the suspects' vehicle collided into a parklet at 24th Street and South Van Ness Avenue, where it struck several people.

First responders at the location at about 3:40 p.m. and a total of six people were taken to the hospital-- two were in critical condition and four people have moderate injuries, according to a spokesperson from San Francisco Fire.
At about 5:30 p.m., Police said that "all the individuals are recovering."

The officers took the vehicle occupants into custody and developed probable cause to arrest two women, police said.
