NORTHERN CALIFORNIA — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

But before we jump into Northern California's top stories, residents should expect warm temperatures to continue Monday until a cold streak begins on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

"Warm temperatures across the region persist into Monday, before a deep upper level trough brings a major cooldown and breezy winds by Tuesday and through the remainder of the week," NWS San Francisco forecasters wrote Monday.

In other news, authorities found two small alligators and several weapons during a search of a home in Northern California, police said.

In another search, authorities raided a Bay Area home and seized an "arsenal" of explosives and weapons, the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office said.

At least one person died Saturday after being trapped inside a burning vehicle in the Bay Area.

Plus, multiple earthquakes were recorded over the weekend in the North Bay. A 4.3 magnitude earthquake rattled Sonoma County, followed by two smaller quakes nearby in Lake County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
