'Comedians on Bicycles' Ends Season With Slow Motion Race

The Bay Area web series' creators are celebrating the season finale Saturday with a a slow-motion bike race and donut-eating contest.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — When the going gets tough, the tough eat donuts, or at least that's the contention of the creators of "Comedians on Bicycles," who are celebrating the web series' season finale Saturday evening with a watch party, a slow-motion bicycle race and a donut-eating contest.

The web series, which launched in 2021, is a takeoff on Jerry Seinfeld's Netflix show "Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee." Comedian Sarah Katz-Hyman hosts the 10-minute-long episodes, in which she rides a bicycle around San Francisco interviewing a well-known San Francisco personality and consuming donuts.

"In a time filled with grim news, San Franciscans can use a dose of comedy, community, and sugar," the comedian notes, and who can argue with that?
