Fire At Homeless Camp Knocked Down In San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Firefighters in San Francisco brought a blaze at a homeless camp in the city's Bayview District under control Friday afternoon.

Fire officials initially reported the blaze just before noon in the 1800 block of Oakdale Avenue.

Residents are being asked to avoid the area.
