Jury Rules in Case of Four San Francisco Officer Excessive Force Case
Alejandro "Alex" Nieto's parents filed civil suit against officers who killed him after he brandished a stun gun that looked like pistol.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA- A jury has unanimously decided the four San Francisco police officers who shot and killed a man are not guilty of excessive force.
A federal court jury entered deliberations this morning on a lawsuit brought on by the parents of Alejandro “Alex” Nieto, who was shot after pointing a stun gun at police in Bernal Heights Park, reports SFGate.
Lt. Jason Sawyer and Officers Roger Morse, Richard Schiff and Nathan Chew believed that the gun was a pistol when they shot Nieto, and were all cleared of any criminal charges by San Francisco prosecutors prior to this civil suit.
