Man Kicked In Head During Market Street Attack In San Francisco
BREAKiNG: Police said the suspect fled on foot toward a nearby BART station and is still at large.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A man was seriously injured when he was pushed to the ground and kicked in the head on San Francisco's Market Street on Wednesday night, police said. The attack was reported at 9:23 p.m. in the area of Market and Seventh streets.
The 51-year-old victim was pushed to the ground by a suspect who then kicked him in the head several times, according to police. The suspect, described as a man around 30 years old, then fled on foot toward a nearby BART station and remains at large as of this morning, police said.
The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are considered life-threatening. Anyone with information about the case is encouraged to call the Police Department's anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with "SFPD" in the message.
