Man Who Sexually Assaulted Multiple Relatives Sentenced: SFDA
During one instance, the man offered to drive a relative to a job interview and then sexually assaulted her in his car, authorities said.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A 60-year-old man who sexually assaulted two separate relatives on different occasions has been sentenced to 25 years in prison, prosecutors said.
Prosecutors say Sergio Alvarado sexually assaulted one relative repeatedly over several months in 2014. He then sexually assaulted a 16-year-old relative in his car after offering to drive her to a job interview in 2019, according to the San Francisco District Attorney's Office.
Alvarado was convicted earlier this year of three counts of forcible rape and one count of forcible oral copulation in connection with the sexual assault of a relative in 2014, prosecutors said.

He was also convicted of one count each of attempted forceable oral copulation on a minor and assault after sexually assaulting the 16-year-old girl in 2019, prosecutors said.
“Mr. Alvarado is now being held accountable for his heinous crimes,” District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said in a statement Tuesday. "Those who act as predators against our children will always be a major focus for my administration, as we must ensure that they are removed from our communities and prevented from doing further harm.”
